Every September for many years now, I release a new yet old project.
My Uncle Bob, blessed memory, used to be puzzled that I could come up with something new every year.
I'm talking about the 2022
Christmas Ornament!
I have a new pattern already designed but have yet to carve one and create a lesson showing you how to chip carve your own.
So you'll have to be patient another week. I promise it will be worth the wait!
Tomorrow, Shelley, I, and Paul will be going to a wedding of two of his long time friends. Whenever the word "wedding" comes up that always means a custom chip carved plate for the bride and groom.
This 14" flat plate is EZboard (high-density urethane), and was carved using vinyl mask and finished with metallic acrylic paints.
Here's a high speed video showing the carving and finished result.
I'm in the process of finding a buyer for EZcarving.com, the business associated with all things EZboard (HDU). When it's finalized I'll be sure to let you know. I know I'll be their customer. I love carving EZboard!
Nancy Anderson blessed me (and you too) by sending some pictures of another serving tray she just finished.
Don't you just love this!
