Monday morning I had a total knee replacement surgery.
I didn't know when I went to sleep and I woke to the chatter of voices 2 hours later and they had robotically cut out the bad one and replaced it with a 3-D printed titanium model for an exact fit. The
replacement is pressed over the bone into place. Remarkable technology.
Tuesday afternoon I was released and was welcomed by Chip's over-exuberant wags and wiggles. Apart for 20 minutes or 2 days, makes no difference! He's always super excited.
Shelley has been caring for me, keeping the ice frozen and dispensing the pills I need to pop. I've got a great PT and he's got me on a good path to recovery.
Thanks for your prayers!
I tried to stand at my desk and edit the first video for the May Project, but my PT advised against it as it increased the swelling which is my major concern at this time. I hope to get to them in a couple of weeks but don't want to push it too fast.
