Monday, the fam and I will head out to Guatemala for a few days of vacation and some mission.
The August project, with Geometric Carving, relates to the carving I'll teach some of the men at a halfway
house.
I've sharpened some chisels and packed some mallets (rubber hammers) and clamps so we can make it happen without having to do any shopping.
Using chisels allows me to teach them this carving technique in hard, dense wood. That way, I'll leave everything with them so they can continue to practice this carving after I leave.
I'll show them how to carve the same two patterns I demonstrated in the July Platinum Member webinar.
