I'm excited to announce a new product has been added to the store! It is no surprise that it is also the project of the month, too. 😉 The new product is a 2-piece Cell Phone Stand:
I decided on a Celtic pattern, but traditional patterns as well as free-form patterns look great on it, too! Either side of the phone backing can face the front, so each side could have a different pattern if you so choose.
The idea for the stand came from a member of the My Chip Carving Project-A-Month program, Nancy A. Thank you for sharing Nancy! All that was needed were a few changes to help streamline
the production process...and time. It was a good feeling to finally have the necessary shop time to start producing stock for the store.
The Celtic pattern was inspired by a reader-submitted project. Arnie B. shared an example of chip carving in a useful project and the rest is history! I found it to be a fun and enjoyable pattern to carve.

Some time ago I had asked you about carving the votive holder. I decided to only carve the two larger areas as the sides are and grain and looked too rough for carving anything substantial. Here it is. And thanks for your encouragement to us
