Discover the Perfect Chip Carving Instruction for Every Skill Level! 🌟
Howdy !
I received an email this week with the following statement:
There are two things I’m interested in from your group: I want to learn chip carving and I want patterns.
I immediately thought – Well, you’ve found the right place!
It’s always exciting to hear
from new chip carvers of all ages about their chip carving journey. I appreciate learning what motivated them to start learning chip carving and what they hope to achieve.
It reminds me of the My Chip Carving mission at the top of this email: “to inspire, instruct & equip”. It’s important to me to continue that mission. Today I want to focus on one of those objectives:
To
Instruct
I believe that is why many of us ended up here in the first place – we wanted to learn how to chip carve! The available online courses can help everyone achieve that goal, starting with the Chip Carving Essentialscourse. If you’re an experienced chip carver, other courses can help increase your skill.
Years ago, the Letters & Numbering course was one of those courses that helped expand my abilities. I had been
carving mostly basic ornament patterns and thought lettering was beyond my capabilities. Once I saw plate patterns and other projects with lettering, rather than purchase the course individually I decided to take the plunge as a Platinum member because it included access to all of the courses! It was exactly what I was looking for and helped me achieve my goal of learning to carve letters.
As a Platinum member, I was surprised to discover many patterns had an
accompanying video explaining how to carve the pattern. This also helped me grow my skills while enjoying the challenge of a new project. I’ve continued adding to the Video collection by creating a video on how to carve each monthly project.
I hope you’re finding the chip carving instruction you’re looking for, whether it’s through the individual courses, Platinum membership (courses and videos), or through the weekly newsletters!
