This might sound a little weird, but take a second to hear me out...
I want you to take a minute right now to just vent.
Because I’ve been in your chip carving shoes before and I know exactly how frustrating it is.
You're chipping along on your project and it's going pretty well. The sun is shining, you're smiling and then it happens...CHIP OUT! arrgghhh!!!
(Or you say something else that I can't type here.)
Talk about ruining your day not to mention your carving. It's so maddening you're tempted to throw your project in the fire pit and pack your knives in the basement for a long, long time.
And...this isn't the first time it's happened. Now you beat yourself up...I can't do this...I'll never be a chip carver...Why even bother to try.
You feel stuck and man is it frustrating!
I get it. So go ahead and complain. Get all that frustration out of your system right now.
There’s just one thing I need you to promise me you WON’T do…
Don’t make the mistake that 99% of chip carvers in your situation end up making. I see it over and over again—when they can’t figure out an actual solution to their problem they give up in frustration.
That’s the exact opposite of what you should be doing.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a long time perfectionist, and I know how it feels.
The temptation is to quit when that's the last thing you should do. There is a solution that will work for you.
Going to a class that I'm teaching would be the best first step. But you may not have enough time or resources to make the trip. That would probably be the absolute best way to get tips on techniques on how to avoid chip out or any other problem you may be facing.
In a face-to-face situation you can learn how to chip carve where you watch me demonstrate and explain, then you practice what you just watched while I come alongside you and give you instruction.
But without this method of learning available to you, look to the second best way of learning.
No travel time and expense needed when you go to the MyChipCarving.com website, login to your Platinum Membership and either go through a Course or watch a single video.
If it's chip out you're struggling with, search "chip out" in the Video Archive and several videos will pop up giving you different techniques to keep in mind when approaching the "chip out zone".
Here's 3 of 10 videos that will pop-up...
You can even watch the replay of a Live Platinum Member Webinar where the topic was "Avoiding Chip Out".
When you choose this method of learning you still get to "watch me demonstrate and explain, then you practice what you just watched".
And if you are able to attend the Live Webinar you can ask me questions that I will answer for you in real time. The only thing missing is me sitting by your side.
Sounds pretty good, right!
You pick the time that works for you!
That’s why I created the Platinum Membership!
