Last week I showed you Proper Technique when it comes to holding your chip carving knife.

What I didn't mention to you is that there are times when you will need to use a "Rollover Grip".

This isn't something you have to learn right away when you first start chip carving, but you will want to learn how to roll your knife over when your skills begin to advance.

I won't explain situations when you'll need this "Rollover Grip" right now to avoid any confusion. When the time comes I'll cover this in your lessons.
