"What do you do when you make a mistake?"
There are two things you can do.
1. Fix it!
If you can, use a small dab of white glue and repair the mistake. I like to use white glue rather than super glue because you can move the piece around until it is perfect without worrying about it drying too quickly.
2. Change the pattern!
In this month's 5x5 box project, I ran into trouble and had a lot of chip out when relieving the background. It would have been way too much work to repair so I changed the pattern.
